LOCATIONS: On-site in Greensboro, NC or Danville, VA is highly preferred (Hybrid/remote flexibility possible for non-local candidates)

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

Set and manage logistics strategy by defining short- and long-term goals aligned with organizational priorities and overseeing distribution, warehousing, and transportation. Coordinate global logistics operations by partnering with European counterparts, ensuring supplier agreements are met, and maintaining inventory availability. Drive performance and financial discipline through KPI reporting, budget monitoring, and implementation of best practices for cost, service, and quality. Lead and develop the team by executing customer projects on time and on budget, fostering continuous improvement, and cultivating a culture of learning and growth.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

Bachelor`s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 8 years in global supply chain management including warehousing and transportation. Proven track record in optimizing supply chains, managing global ocean freight, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and international customs and dangerous goods regulations. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with the metric system. Committed to continuous learning, adaptable to new systems and procedures, and able to travel domestically as needed.
