Principal / Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test

Location: onsite in the greater Baltimore, MD Area. Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance: Polygraph required. Travel: Yes, up to 10% of the time. Description: Northrop Grumman seeks candidates for the position of Principal / Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test to support Advanced Technology development programs. What You’ll Get To Do

Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones/reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, etc.). Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements. Manage vertical and horizontal technical integration across product teams and the program life cycle, collaborating across a portfolio of programs. Collect, manage, and report program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs). Manage risk and opportunity and produce core engineering work products, tracking dependencies in the program schedule. Coordinate between System Architect(s), Chief Engineer(s), Product Team Lead(s), program managers, and customers to ensure the integrity and executability of the technical baseline. This position will be on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area. Basic Qualifications

Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year. Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, focusing on SRR to CDR. Experience in systems development, integration, and test. Demonstrated Requirements Management from elicitation to verification. Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE). Risk and Opportunity Management experience; experience leading technical teams. U.S. citizen; current Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI and a Polygraph prior to start. Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years. Same core qualifications as Principal level (Systems Development Lifecycle, SRR to CDR, etc.). Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes from Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for complex systems of systems. Experience with CAMEO or similar MBSE management tools. Master’s degree or PhD in STEM or technical management. Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF). Multidisciplinary engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and cross-functional communication. Experience managing contracts of $10M+ Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00 The salary ranges are general guidelines; actual offers consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available; long-term incentives for certain roles; benefits include health, life and disability insurance, savings plan, holidays, and PTO.
