Overview
Intellectual Property Litigation Associate – (CHI, NY, DC). Steptoe LLP seeks a 3rd to 4th year associate with experience in patent and/or trade secret litigation to join the Firm’s IP practice group in its Chicago, New York or Washington, DC office.

Perform advanced technical analysis, draft pleadings and briefs, and contribute to case strategy. Collaborate with partners and associates on high-stakes intellectual property litigation matters. Demonstrate strong writing abilities, interpersonal and communication skills. Qualifications
Admission to the Washington, DC, Illinois, or New York Bar (depending on office location), active and in good standing. Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science. Registration to practice before the USPTO is strongly preferred. Advanced science or technical degree, industry experience, and computer programming skills are pluses. What We Offer
Competitive compensation: anticipated salary range $260,000 to $310,000, depending on experience.
