Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis, make timely management decisions Prescribe and regularly review medications; monitor repeat prescriptions Provide specialist guidance to other healthcare team members; contribute to clinical governance and effectiveness activities Qualifications required
MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on GMC Register and GP Performers List Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal Experience as a General Practitioner in community general practice Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to undertake Desirable/Additional criteria
