Job Summary We're in search of an Outpatient Clinical Director for our clinic in Brockton, to work on a full time basis at our Outpatient Clinic, part of our Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Division. The Outpatient Clinical Director is accountable to the Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services, who is responsible for providing supervision and training. The Outpatient Clinical Director is the one who actively promotes the philosophy of the Gándara Center, and maintains a high level of commitment to the clinic and its programming.

Duties and Responsibilities Client Services Responsibilities

In conjunction with the Senior Director Of Behavioral Health Services acts as the clinical specialist of the program and establishes clinical systems and standards of care

Provides safe, effective and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care

Plans, organizes, and directs clinical persons served services while responsible for administrative functioning of clinical services departments

In conjunction with Practice Manager and Senior Director Of Behavioral Health Services, creates and adjusts work flow in all clinical and psychoeducational programming

Ensures program functions smoothly within the larger local behavioral health system by building and maintaining relationships with community partners

Monitor staffing levels and workload assignments for the therapists and activity staff

Makes staff assignments and creates schedules; updates support staff when changes are made

Monitors clinician's compliance with productivity requirements and develops improvement plan when requirements are not met

Ensures quality patient care; conducts treatment plan reviews as needed

Ensure the use of person centered planning and monitors the effectiveness of multi-disciplinary treatment team process

Assists with the recruitment, hiring and training of qualified clinical staff

May also be involved in crisis intervention and work as a liaison within community

Ensures ethical and professional conduct by clinical staff

Ensure service delivery system is aligned with billing system, quality management system and behavioral health operational systems in order to insure highest quality of services and prevent agency liabilities

Assure staff training for direct service practice that is current with best practice standards, funding and accreditation requirements

Supports Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services in championing a spirit of collaborative and open communication across all agency departments and program operations to bridge multiple sites, ensure program alignment, program efficiencies, and cross continuum of program services

Perform other duties as assigned

Administrative Responsibilities/Record Keeping

To adhere to program and agency policies and procedures

To attend scheduled staff meetings

To maintain and review person served records in accordance with standard format and timetables

To attend regular supervisory meeting with the Director of Psychological Testing

To maintain assigned financial record keeping, and submits required reports accurately and in a timely manner

To complete time sheets and submits them accurately and in a timely manner

To maintain job related record keeping accurately and submit reports in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of a Doctoral level education program (Psy.D or Ph.D)

MA state licensure as MLHC, LISCW, LADCI, not required

2 plus years of supervisory experience

Program development experience
