As a Complex Financial Instruments Managing Director, you will perform professional business and complex instrument valuations, including equity derivatives, fixed income derivative models, equity instruments in complex capital structures, and contingent claims. You will utilize advanced statistical and financial concepts such as stochastic processes, Monte Carlo simulations, binomial lattices (for equity and interest rate models), and real options. You will lead the Complex Financial Instruments team within the CFO Advisory Services solution family, supported by resources, environment, and tools to help you excel. Responsibilities
Leading projects in business valuation analysis and industry research Meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets Performing data-intensive financial analysis, modeling, projections, due diligence, valuation, damage calculations, and industry research Writing opinion letters and reports Maintaining communication with clients to manage expectations and deadlines Communicating with engagement teams regarding project milestones Mentoring junior staff and participating in recruitment Working at client sites, in the office, or remotely, with flexible work arrangements Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree preferred At least 13 years of related experience in consulting or servicing clients at a national level Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, CVA, ABV, AVA, or ASA; if not held, must be obtained within 18 months Experience in business development and team leadership Consulting experience required Industry-specific experience if applicable Matlab experience preferred Strong analytical skills in financial analysis, econometrics, and statistics Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to travel approximately 20%
Salary Range
San Francisco and San Jose: $280,400 - $467,200 New York, NY: $263,300 - $438,800
