Monarch is seeking a Part Time Psychiatrist to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC traveling to the homes of the people we serve. Part Time role offering 10-26 hours per week. Flexible schedule with the option to work 5-10 hours per day. This position is 100% onsite, with no option of remote work. Evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medications for people we support diagnosed with mental disorders to enhance quality of life and support personal goals and community integration with self-determination and independence. Assess individuals served by the ACTT for mental health disorders and make appropriate DSM diagnoses. Ensure services are delivered in a medically appropriate manner following service definitions and best practices. Review past treatments and evaluations to develop diagnoses and person-centered plans; screen referrals in coordination with other ACTT members. Prescribe medications when appropriate and request diagnostic lab work as needed. Maintain necessary documentation and records, including the use of an Electronic Health Records system (EHR). Provide education to individuals about their diagnoses and recommended treatments; involve and educate family members and supports when appropriate. Encourage individuals to participate in mental health therapy when appropriate. Collaborate, coordinate, and consult with counselors, psychologists, social workers, medical staff, and other local providers to discuss treatment plans and progress. Participate in staffing of complex or high-risk individuals with other program staff. Provide clinical supervision of physician assistants and nurse practitioners who will be added to the North Carolina medical license as the collaborating physician. Attend and actively participate in required meetings and trainings; maintain certification in agency, state, and federal training requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures and service definitions relevant to program areas. Follow service definition guidelines for services provided. Complete other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Driving and travel may be required. Meet regularly with other ACTT members to formulate and disseminate information and be available by telephone. Education & Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) (Required) Certifications We're Looking For:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry - American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN); Completed a psychiatry training program at an accredited sponsoring institution - Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME); Valid Driver’s License; State License – Psychiatry (MD/DO).
