ChristianaCare is looking for a Full-Time clinical psychiatrist (approximately 32 minimum patient facing hours) to join our academically-focused Consultation-Liaison team within the Behavioral Health Service Line. This position provides psychiatric consultation services for patients admitted to our inpatient medical and surgical units and emergency room, and entails close collaboration and integrative care with medical teams. The role includes teaching to psychiatric residents and multidisciplinary trainees. Potential for coverage at both our Newark and Wilmington campuses. Locations
Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE (906 beds) and Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, DE (321 beds). Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric consultation services for inpatients on medical and surgical units and in the emergency department. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver integrated care. Teach psychiatric residents and multidisciplinary trainees. Participate in teaching and scholarly activities within the Behavioral Health Service Line. Contribute to quality improvement projects and department initiatives based on interests. Qualifications
BE/BC in Psychiatry. BE/BC and fellowship trained in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry preferred. Eligible for license in Delaware. ChristianaCare

Annual Compensation Range $102,502.40 - $10,249,990.40. The range reflects ChristianaCare’s good faith estimate for full-time hours. Actual compensation depends on factors including experience, education, training, credentials, and qualifications. The range may include productivity incentives, value-based incentives, and other compensation forms dependent on factors such as hours and call coverage. ChristianaCare will offer compensation at an appropriate point within the range or, less frequently, outside the range as warranted. Equal Opportunity
