Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is currently seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) to join our oncology team. In this role, you will calculate and plan radiation dose distributions for patients undergoing radiation therapy, ensuring optimal treatment while prioritizing patient safety and quality of care. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements. Deadline for applicants is today by 6 p.m. PST. Responsibilities
Calculate and create individualized radiation treatment plans based on clinical requirements and dose specifications Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to ensure treatment plans meet established clinical standards Utilize sophisticated treatment planning software to develop and modify treatment distributions Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify treatment plans’ accuracy and effectiveness Document all aspects of treatment planning and maintain comprehensive patient records Participate in treatment planning meetings and contribute to patient care discussions Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Dosimetry or a relevant field Current certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) Active state license to practice as a Medical Dosimetrist In-depth knowledge of radiation physics, radiobiology, and treatment planning Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities U.S. Citizenship required Benefits
