Overview
Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Therapeutic Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. In this role, you will administer radiation treatments to patients with cancer, following established protocols to ensure patient safety and effective treatment delivery.
Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatments, documenting any changes or concerns
Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and improve patient care plans
Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid and active certification as a Radiation Therapist
Active state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist
Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
U.S. Citizenship required
A valid and active certification in Radiation Therapy is required. Candidates must possess an active state license and be U.S. Citizens.
Schedule This position offers a standard Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
