Commercialization Excellence & Scale Up Principal Engineer
is a role in our Research and Development (R&D) team to support Kraft Heinz Portfolio Evolution strategy. You will lead the scale up and commercialization of products and processes across the Kraft Heinz portfolio, driving business growth through innovation and commercialization execution excellence. You will ensure seamless transition of product renovations from development to commercialization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results. Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercialization of products and processes, ensuring successful scale-up and manufacturing. Participate in technical and design reviews to assess internal and external proposals to support delivery of the portfolio evolution strategic plan. Prepare equipment specifications and design scopes to support detail engineering and procurement sourcing actions. Support process equipment optimization and equipment installation execution including factory acceptance tests, commissioning and start-ups at internal and external manufacturing facilities to validate successful implementations. Participate in or lead technical commercialization excellence reviews and champion executional excellence best practices and ways of working across the R&D function. Provide technical guidance to NA Zone R&D teams regarding process optimization, quality issues or new designs. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to support delivery of the portfolio evolution strategic plan. Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive business growth through innovation and excellence. Help develop organizational standards and leverage industry best practices. Experience & Qualifications
Minimum BS in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or related field; Masters is a plus. 5+ years of engineering or technical experience, with preferred experience in food process engineering. Expert understanding of process and product interactions. Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and tools. Proven communication and influencing skills with cross-functional teams and external partners. Excellent project management, research, data analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong personal motivation in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with a bias for action. Willingness to travel up to 25%. New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102,100.00 - $127,600.00 Bonus:
This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
