Neurologist | Crystal Run Healthcare, Optum New York — Middletown or Newburgh, NY. Full-time position with a focus on patient-centered care within a collaborative Optum Care Delivery environment. Position Highlights

The Neurology Department is a busy, well-established practice serving patients in Orange County, Hudson Valley, and the lower Catskills. You’ll have the team, equipment, and support to practice at the peak of your license. Fellowship-trained, physician-led, patient-centered team-based care environment. Opportunities for growth and development; autonomy and independence in practice with strong affiliation to local tertiary care hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Desirable Monday–Friday schedules with work–life balance; rotating on-call and local inpatient rounding (1:8-week rotation). Adult-focused patient census (18+). New grads are welcome to apply. Primary Responsibilities

Investigate, diagnose, and treat the full range of neurological disorders (brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles) including headaches, back pain, neuropathy, stroke, seizures, MS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer's, and related conditions. Provide comprehensive medical and surgical neurological care within a team of fellowship-trained Neurologists and Advanced Practice Clinicians. Consult with patients about their neurologic health and discuss latest care advancements; refer to specialists as needed. Examine and diagnose to determine need for procedures or surgery; oversee treatment pre- and post-surgery and identify risks. Order tests, interpret results, maintain medical records, and utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment (CAT, MRI, vascular ultrasound, neurophysiologic studies, EEG, EMG/evoked potentials, lumbar punctures). Qualifications

Completion of an accredited relevant fellowship training program (or in process). Board Certification in Neurology and any subspecialties as applicable. Unrestricted New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain). Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability to obtain). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for New York residents: $284,306 to $414,001 per year; actual range based on experience, qualifications, and metrics.
