Our team comprises 10 Neurologists and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians (2 PAs and 4 NPs), fostering a dynamic and supportive environment while providing coverage for all Kelsey-Seybold Clinics in the Houston Metropolitan area. On average, each Neurologist consults 1-2 patients daily. Call weeks include a half-day in the clinic and a half-day reserved for hospital rounds. Neurologists can practice at one or two clinics in a specific region, minimizing travel time and enhancing community engagement. Each neurologist sees between 12 and 20 patients daily, depending on the ratio of visit types. Varied patient encounters contribute to a diverse and enriching practice. Enjoy the privilege of taking call at CHI Baylor St. Luke’s Hospital. Benefit from a dedicated neurointensivist and neurology floor team led by Baylor College of Medicine. A dedicated "stroke team" is in-house at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, ensuring prompt emergency response. Kelsey neurologists assume a consultant-style hospital call, rounding on patients during daylight hours. All Kelsey patients are admitted under the care of a Kelsey-Seybold Hospitalist at Baylor St. Luke’s.
