Hospitalist - Physician

Responsibilities : Main responsibilities include responding to ER calls and admitting patients in the assigned hospital(s) from 7pm to 7am. The schedule can be arranged among the team to ensure coverage every night. The nocturnal hospitalist must stay in-house during the shift and will be responsible for all admission calls to Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. They will not be the primary physician for Kelsey-Seybold patients admitted to the ICUs at Baylor St. Luke’s. Expected to efficiently manage hospitalized patients and coordinate care with specialists. Ensure safe and effective transition of follow-up care to the daytime hospitalist. Participate in hospital committees, initiatives, and KSC Hospital Service / IM Department activities. Qualifications Active Texas medical license.
