Overview
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Officer, Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst to join our IT Enterprise Services team. The Officer & Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst is responsible for leading and maintaining the Bank’s Disaster Recovery (DR) activities. This role will coordinate disaster recovery plans and tests to ensure business and technology resilience. Hours
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary) Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $135,000/yr; commensurate with experience. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, risk management, a related field or equivalent experience required Experience coordinating DR activities and/or programs preferred Experience with DR environments both systems and infrastructure preferred Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industry preferred 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in disaster recovery or a related field, inclusive of experience coordinating DR planning, DR tests, failover/failback, and audit/regulatory reporting required Proven ability to manage multiple DR initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines across various departments and stakeholders Proficient in using DR software platforms (e.g., Archer) for DR planning, testing, communication, and reporting Capable of analyzing DR test results and generate actionable reports to guide decision-making Strong ability to facilitate DR testing discussions, effectively communicate complex testing concepts to stakeholders at all levels and ensure clear messaging during a DR test Ability to lead cross-functional teams, make critical decisions under pressure, and guide the organization through disaster recovery challenges Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applications Strong judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information, ensuring that all DR activities comply with organizational and regulatory privacy standards Proven ability to work autonomously, make informed decisions with minimal supervision, and manage multiple priorities effectively Benefits
