NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

Opportunity Details:
Provide psychiatric services to children and adolescents in an outpatient psychiatric clinic, behavioral pediatric clinic, and pediatric emergency room setting.
Supervise and teach residents and Nurse Practitioners.
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric services to children and adolescents in specified clinical settings.
Supervise and teach residents and Nurse Practitioners.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Current or anticipated within 5-years of hire).
Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
Active DEA License.
Salary and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $266,200 (board eligible); $276,500 (board certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $436,820 (board eligible) and $448,150 (board certified), including base salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $104,000.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on quality and productivity targets).
401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately; after one year, 7% additional contribution. No employee match required.
Annual CME reimbursement; generous PTO; medical, prescription, and dental coverage; life and AD&D coverage; voluntary life options; loan forgiveness programs; malpractice coverage; FSAs; pre-tax commuting deductions.
