South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with

NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine

to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details

Provide psychiatric services to children and adolescents in an outpatient psychiatric clinic, behavioral pediatric clinic, and pediatric emergency room setting.

Supervise and teach residents and Nurse Practitioners.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Current or anticipated within 5 years of hire).

Board Certified in General Psychiatry.

License to practice medicine in the State of New York.

Active DEA License.

Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary:

$266,200

(board eligible);

$276,500

(board certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at

$436,820

(board eligible) and

$448,150

(board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is

$104,000 .

Projected bonus of up to

$40,000

(based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
