Overview
The Department of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University and The MetroHealth System is seeking board-certified (or board-eligible) psychiatrists (outpatient) to provide clinical care to adult patients and to teach residents, medical students, and other learners. The position offers a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University at an appropriate level. There will be opportunities for academic and career development at the largest medical research institution in Ohio. The MetroHealth System is ranked nationally among top 1% hospitals. The department plans to develop novel clinical and academic programs and is particularly interested in candidates with academic interests and experience in somatic treatment modalities. Physician-scientists will receive protected research time if they bring extramural funding; protected time for promising candidates will be decided on a case-by-case basis. All candidates will receive mentoring and support for academic advancement. The department has relocated to a brand new 112-bed Behavioral Health Hospital in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
