A senior Infrastructure Engineer who will shape the foundation of Distyl AI’s platform development. This hands-on role requires building secure, scalable, and easily deployable infrastructure to ensure the AI platform (Distillery) is reliable across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate is an opinionated, pragmatic engineer who can define how cutting-edge AI applications are deployed in production at global scale. Strong communication and ownership are essential. Key Responsibilities
Design & Operate Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Architect and manage resilient, scalable deployments across cloud and hybrid environments, leveraging Kubernetes, serverless frameworks, and modern microservices architectures. Evolve Infrastructure as Code: Drive modular Terraform and GitOps configurations for consistency and speed across multi-cloud environments. Advance Automation & CI/CD: Build and refine CI/CD pipelines with GitOps practices and tools such as Gradle, Bazel, Flux, Helm, and GitHub Actions to reduce operational overhead. Embed Security & Compliance: Integrate IAM, secrets management, and secure service-to-service communication into every layer. Drive Observability & Reliability: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. AgentOps & AI Tooling: Design infrastructure for AI toolchains, agent integrations, and deployments. Qualifications
6+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or systems engineering with a track record of production-grade systems. Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Kubernetes. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and GitOps. Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (Flux, ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Proficiency in Python and Linux for automation and tooling. Solid knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, networking, security, IAM, and secrets management. Familiarity with modern observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog). Experience with serverless frameworks and event-driven architectures. Ownership mindset with initiative, decision-making, and project-driving abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. What We Offer
