Complete risk assessment and service visits with associated reports and confirmation letters to clients. Coach aligned learners and provide technical support to risk control consultants surveying Technology and Life Science accounts. Collaborate with risk control product directors and underwriting teams in technology and life science verticals to develop tools, procedures, and best practices to improve market penetration through project development and completion. Survey and service High TIV and Complex Product Accounts to mitigate risk, improve performance, and guide underwriting to profitable business; prepare reports with risk mitigation recommendations. Educate and empower risk control consultants through training, coaching, feedback, and resources for high-caliber development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk Control, Underwriting, Claims) to ensure comprehensive risk assessment and management strategies to write and retain profitable business. Analyze and optimize using data analytics and industry insights to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in risk control practices. Influence the direction of risk control initiatives and policy/procedural changes that enhance market position. Support Liberty Mutual’s brand by engaging in speaking engagements, building a network of contacts, and publishing safety-related articles; may lead projects within broader initiatives. What You’ll Do
Survey and service High TIV and Complex Product Accounts to mitigate risk and provide risk mitigation recommendations. Educate and empower risk control consultants to promote development of the Tech and Life Science risk control team. Collaborate with Risk Control, Underwriting, and Claims to ensure comprehensive risk assessment and management strategies. Analyze data and industry insights to identify trends and drive improvements in risk control practices. Travel to client sites across the US; travel expected 25-50% per month. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering or related areas (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or progressive safety/health field. Advanced degree and/or professional certifications such as CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE are common; advanced knowledge in risk assessment, solutions management, and progress measurement. Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills to build relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills. Experience with proprietary software applications and Microsoft Office suite for data handling and documentation. Regular travel required. About Us
