industrial services company
with approximately
$500M in revenue , is at a critical inflection point as it prepares for its next phase of growth and operational scale. With strong customer relationships, a diversified service offering, and significant opportunities for expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide financial leadership, enhance operational discipline, and partner with executive leadership and investors to maximize enterprise value. Position Overview
The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board and private equity sponsor. This executive will oversee all financial operations and play a pivotal role in setting strategy, driving profitability, and building a best-in-class finance organization to support continued growth. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
– Partner with the CEO and Board to set financial strategy, develop growth initiatives, and execute long-term plans. Financial Management
– Direct accounting, finance, treasury, tax, and reporting, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency. Operational Excellence
– Build scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support rapid expansion and efficiency improvements. Performance Management
– Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A to deliver insights that drive decision-making and margin improvement. Investor Relations
– Serve as the primary financial liaison with the private equity sponsor, ensuring alignment on performance metrics and value creation. Transaction Leadership
– Guide financial aspects of M&A activity, including due diligence, integration, and synergy tracking. Team Development
– Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team capable of supporting a larger, more complex organization. Qualifications
Proven CFO or senior finance executive experience in a
PE-backed industrial, energy, or services company . Strong knowledge of project-based accounting, cost management, and multi-entity operations. Demonstrated success leading finance organizations during periods of scale, transformation, and transaction activity. Deep expertise in FP&A, technical accounting, treasury, and financial reporting. Track record of working closely with private equity sponsors and Boards. Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills. Compensation & Logistics
Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and equity participation. Relocation support available for the right candidate. In-office presence required in the Greater Houston area.
