Position Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Governance

Develop and lead an enterprise data strategy to ensure all internal and external data sources are leveraged as strategic assets.

Collaborate with business leaders to define and implement data governance policies across departments and systems.

Oversee data architecture, integrity, quality, and security in partnership with IT, compliance, and operational teams.

Establish enterprise data analytics platforms and dashboards to support timely, accurate, and actionable decision-making.

Technology-Enabled Innovation

Champion a culture of innovation driven by data, analytics, and technology.

Lead initiatives applying digital tools, automation, and AI to enhance resident experience, clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and partner engagement.

Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies aligned with data strategy and enterprise system architecture.

Monitor trends in hospitality tech, healthcare tech, and senior services to identify high-impact innovation opportunities.

Systems Evaluation & Integration

Vet and guide the adoption of technologies and digital tools through the lens of data strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and long-term innovation goals.

Evaluate new and existing enterprise systems to ensure interoperability, strategic alignment, and innovation potential.

Collaborate with operational leaders to identify technology gaps and recommend system enhancements or replacements.

Develop frameworks for ROI analysis, system lifecycle management, and cost-benefit evaluations to inform capital planning and prioritization.

Contribute to budgeting and resource planning for enterprise data systems, innovation pilots, and digital initiatives.

Team Leadership & Alignment

Provide leadership and strategic direction to teams involved in data analytics, systems innovation, and digital transformation.

Directly supervise the Clinical Informatics Analyst and Software Engineer, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.

Maintain dotted-line relationships with IT leadership to align infrastructure, implementation, and data strategy.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technology strategy supports organizational goals and resident-centered outcomes.

Collaboration & Change Management

Partner with Executive Directors, clinical leaders, and functional departments on cross-campus digital transformation initiatives.

Act as a change agent, promoting adoption of new technologies and processes organization-wide.

Facilitate cross-functional teams for innovation pilots, technology selection, implementation, and evaluation.

Represent the organization in vendor discussions and industry forums to identify emerging best practices and tools.

Experience & Skills Required Experience and Qualifications Education & Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Data Science, Business, Health Administration, or related field preferred.

Additional certifications in analytics, data governance, or innovation leadership preferred.

Experience:

7–10 years of progressive leadership in data strategy, innovation, digital transformation, or IT strategy.

Proven track record of driving innovation and digital initiatives in complex, multi-site organizations.

Critical Skills & Knowledge

Strong business acumen to translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and project leadership skills.

Ability to lead innovation efforts and drive change across diverse teams.

Experience with enterprise data platforms, advanced analytics, cloud solutions, and AI tools.

Ability to mentor others in innovation practices.

Skilled in cross-functional leadership and influencing without direct authority.

Expertise in evaluating technologies and vendors from a data architecture, integration, and ROI perspective.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare or senior living preferred.
