The
AVPD Distribution Services Finance
will direct the production planning for 12 Distribution Centers and 2 campuses for 3pl Operations totaling in excess of 2.5B units within the Marmaxx Distribution network. This role acts as a liaison between Distribution Services and Executives, Merchandising, Finance, Store Operations, Planning & Allocation, Systems and Loss Prevention. The AVP will report to the VP of MMX Distribution Services. Responsibilities
Production Planning – current month and long range Manage Production Planning function and collaborates with Merchandise Planning to determine production plans for each building and production site. Strategize production planning guidance through year Model distro cadence Elevate risk and opportunities to distro goals or operations Provide proper direction on flow of product through network Peak production strategy planning Evaluate volume and flow by building Partner with key stakeholders on execution of business strategies – distros, special handling product, logistics/inbound Manage Production KPI’s and evaluating business conditions supporting building KPI ratings Forecast third party support needs by site Oversees the refrigerated chocolate program – operational execution, peak warm month strategies, planning and flow Collaborate on assessing long term capacity of the network Determine peak capacities and strategies to support November-December flow Partner on early incentive and closeout holding strategies to support peak Manage key specialty areas including D18 jewelry, D7 runway, chocolate, assembly and furniture – partnering with merchants, planning and DC operations Staff Development
Manage staff and develop them for future growth within department and organization. Coach staff on performance and professional development Motivate staff to achieve efficiency and productivity Conduct performance appraisals, interviews and discipline/documentation as needed. Lead a four direct reports with four indirect reports Minimum formal Education
Bachelors or MBA in a financial or operations discipline plus equivalent job experience is necessary Minimum job skills required
Strong knowledge of DC Operations, Merchandising, Planning & Allocation and Finance Ability to interact with all levels of management Very strong project management and presentation skills Knowledge of planning programs, forecasting tools, TJX tools Strong business knowledge and forecasting abilities Minimum Experience

This position has a starting salary range of $142,500.00 to $185,300.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
