Executive Director of Virtual Care

Overview
The Executive Director of Virtual Care is directly responsible for the local execution and performance of clinical support services, which may include imaging, inpatient rehab services, respiratory, laboratory, inpatient wound care, VAS and clinical staffing resources (CSR) at Advent Health. This leadership role drives daily performance across the care continuum, partnering with nursing to ensure continuity and collaboration of clinical support services that impact patient care for outpatient, emergency, and inpatient populations. It also oversees the operations center, including house supervisors and decedent care support. The Executive Director works closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Nursing Officer and functional owners, providing subject matter expertise for clinical support operations to achieve high quality outcomes, effective performance and engaged teams. The role supports outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all stakeholders.

Scope of Responsibility:
Provides leadership and oversight for local and daily operations at AdventHealth Orlando for Imaging, Respiratory, Laboratory, Rehab, CSR, House Supervisors, Wound Care, and VAS. Manages budgets for departments, reviews metrics, and leads improvement activities. Works collaboratively in a functional matrix to ensure standardization and alignment across the system.
Compliance/Regulatory:
Supports training to ensure staff are knowledgeable of current codes and regulations (AHCA, DNV) and internal policies. Advises directors and managers on policy interpretations to ensure compliance.
Operating & Capital Budget/Financial:
Develops and monitors annual operating budgets and fiscal accountability for all departments. Partners with directors to plan long-range capital projects and equipment needs.
Strategic Planning:
Provides strategic input and administrative oversight of daily operations. Develops ideas and processes that shape the future, uses analysis to solve problems, and ensures decisions align with campus strategic directions.

Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's Required
6 Work Experience Required
4 Leadership Experience Required
Preferred qualifications :
Master's Preferred
Six Sigma (SS) Preferred
Lean Bronze Certification Preferred
