Conduct comparative multi-domain HSI engineering analysis, impact assessments, trade-off studies of complex systems Provide HSI design, installation, integration, and test support either in a laboratory or direct applications Develop design documentation/specification development Create HSI test planning and test procedures development, test conduct, analysis, and reporting Perform HSI-related engineering requirements, performance and risk analysis Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate systems Apply engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition, training, and resource management Conduct Task Analyses (e.g., Mission Task Analysis, Top-Down Functional Analysis, Critical Task Analysis) Lead design, installation, integration, and test support either in a laboratory or operational systems Understand Naval operations from unit level through operational staff and headquarters planning Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, mathematics, operational research, modeling and simulation, chemistry, biology, computer science, naval architecture or similar fields. Minimum 6 years of experience in Government related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs 4 years of relevant HSI engineering experience in at least 3 of the HSI areas listed in requirements Experience in engineering design, technical analysis and system design specific to networking technologies Understanding of Naval operations from unit level through operational staff and headquarters planning TS/SCI clearance required U.S. citizenship required Desired Qualifications
Navy programs for both surface and submarines Experience with CANES and ADNS Experience in developing new capabilities Experience in HSI test planning, procedures development, test conduct, analysis, and reporting
