Overview

Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant (Contract-Hire) role at Addison Group. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Washington, DC. Responsibilities

Processing and preparation of daily cash receipts, data entry for Membership, Subscriptions, Publications, Annual meeting transactions, and handling inquiries from internal and external customers. Administer all aspects of the accounts payable/cash disbursement system including recording of invoices, tracking, review, approval, and payment. Reconcile AR Subledger to GL; maintain accuracy with generally accepted accounting principles (GAP) and typical AR processes. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analyses (bank, subsidiary, general ledger, prepaid, etc.) to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Prepare journal entries with proper classifications. Qualifications

Min of 2 years of Full Cycle Accounts Receivable Experience with GL reconciliations BS in a business-related field highly preferred Non-Profit industry experience highly preferred Role Details
