Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure high performance and efficiency Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and reliability Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals from various disciplines (e.g., data scientists, analysts, system engineers) to achieve project goals Engage in team discussions and brainstorming sessions to drive innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes Foster a positive team dynamic by being a supportive team player Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 3+ years of experience as a Data Science Engineer or in a similar role Proficiency in Python, R, and Java Experience with SQL and data warehousing Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow) Experience with cloud technologies, including knowledge of Cloud Foundry and its deployment processes Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance best practices Experience with BI/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Experience with CI/CD and Git practices Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices Experience with Flask, Django, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and tools Knowledge of text analysis Additional Information
This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Everett, WA Pay and benefits: Boeing offers a Total Rewards package, including competitive base pay and variable compensation, health and retirement benefits, and paid/unpaid time off. Exact programs vary by location and eligibility. Summary Pay Range: $121,550 – $164,450 Other Requirements
