Alarm.com is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Senior Launch Technical Program Manager (Sr. L-TPM) to lead the program management function for video surveillance cameras. The role plans and executes the full project lifecycle for complex IoT hardware programs, delivering next-generation products. As a hands-on leader, you will manage cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful and timely project completion, actively engaging in day-to-day tasks, providing leadership, establishing best practices, and guiding cross-functional teams to meet portfolio milestones on schedule. The Sr. L-TPM will drive end-to-end program delivery across hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, and product domains, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and resource constraints. Responsibilities

Manage and Coach:

Focus on people management by acting as a mentor and coach, supporting professional growth, providing regular feedback, and fostering a productive environment. Hands-On Leadership:

Actively participate in project tasks and manage the project engineering team to ensure high performance and growth. Lead Cross-Functional Teams:

Guide hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, and product teams to deliver end-to-end programs. Program Scheduling:

Develop and maintain master program schedules aligned with goals and timelines. Status Reporting:

Communicate progress to leadership, product, and engineering management regarding timelines and deliverables. Escalation and Unblocking:

Identify, escalate, and remove obstacles to maintain progress. Dependency Management:

Manage internal and external dependencies to ensure alignment and readiness to deliver. Technical Decision-Making:

Facilitate consensus on technical decisions across multidisciplinary teams. Resource Negotiation:

Secure appropriate resources across teams and program phases. Risk Mitigation:

Identify and mitigate risks early at the program level. Team Collaboration:

Promote effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities. Process Improvement:

Continuously improve development processes based on experiences. Communication Skills:

Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, problem-solving, and organization. Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience 8+ years in electronic product development 8+ years of engineering and manufacturing coordination supporting NPI 5+ years of hardware program management / project management Ability to push through ambiguity and drive decision-making to keep programs on track Proven experience in managing high-performing technical teams Proven experience in managing large, complex projects and breaking them down into manageable pieces Ability to anticipate risks, understand them, and make the right tradeoffs Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with global, cross-functional teams Track record of improving development processes and driving effective teamwork Hands-on leadership with mentoring and guidance abilities Please note:

The salary range for this opportunity is listed as $180,000 - $200,000 USD and is determined based on qualifications, location, and experience.
