The opportunity Within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution sub service line, Deal Management works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, and advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions, and people. Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Director with EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution Deal Management practice, you will lead and execute operationally focused projects, manage projects across sectors, and direct our client service team in developing and executing transaction strategies. You will also focus on business and practice development and on developing team members to achieve their career goals. Skills And Attributes For Success Project Management – lead project teams comprising colleagues from across Strategy and Transactions sub service lines. Business and Commercially Driven – work in a fast-paced environment with strong business acumen to drive client value. Business Development – drive client pursuits, including presentations and client meetings; contribute to practice development initiatives. People development – coach and mentor team members to support career goals. Building Relationships – develop strong relationships with senior clients, providing influence, advice, and support for key decisions. To qualify for the role, you must have A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics with 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with ~7 years of related work experience. MBA is preferred. Significant M&A management consulting experience. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience leading and managing in complex business environments. Ability to assess technology, operations, or manufacturing infrastructure in detail. Ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts. Strong prioritization skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills; ability to develop long-lasting internal and external relationships. Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary. Ideally, you will also have A proven track record of excellence in mergers or acquisitions transaction roles. Experience within another large professional services organization. Established networking skills in a relevant industry. Comprehensive compensation and benefits; base salary range for this job in all US locations is $250,000 to $290,000, with total rewards including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and generous paid time off. Salary is determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Hybrid work model: most client-serving roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over a project or year.
