Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making. Base pay range
$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense reporting as needed. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Mentor and support junior accounting staff. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred). 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Employment type
