Our long-standing, Bellevue based client, is looking to hire a contract Senior Accountant to assist with multiple projects on an ongoing basis!

Base pay range $40.00/yr - $50.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Support month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense reporting as needed.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
