Overview

Lead Technologist/ Project Manager – Energy Solutions Advisory (remote, in-office, or hybrid). Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power team to support clients navigating the deployment of reliable and sustainable energy solutions across multiple end markets. This role provides an opportunity to deploy project leadership skills to develop innovative solutions that support growing power demands and accelerate the energy transition across North America. The base pay range for this position is $140,700.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Responsibilities

Manage internal Jacobs teams as well as external subconsultants and contractors Work with clients to solve energy challenges, including speed to market, reliability, and sustainability Collaborate with technical leadership, client account managers, and sales professionals on pursuits of strategic importance Manage client relationships to ensure expectations are understood and met; address client concerns and ensure positive relationships Oversee projects to minimize risk and adhere to budget, schedule, scope, and quality; identify and mitigate risks Identify, develop, and pursue business opportunities with existing or new clients Support proposals or other materials for new business opportunities with operational and business development teams Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field At least 8 years of design, consulting, or project development experience Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships, win work, and deliver value with innovative solutions Strategic, exploration, concept, and development planning experience for energy projects; knowledge of new and emerging technologies Experience in concept and developed design optimization to guide technical decision making Effective presentation, communication, and technical writing skills Experience with multi-disciplinary project delivery teams Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams including owner’s personnel and third-party engineers/contractors Other Highly Regarded Qualifications

Professional Registration Experience with thermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water) Utility master planning or decarbonization/climate response planning Cogeneration or combined heat and power systems Microgrid and other distributed energy resources systems Data center or mission critical loads Renewable energy projects Complex energy system modeling Work Arrangement

This role can be filled remotely, in office, or in a hybrid capacity. Benefits
