Overview
Schedule Details: Outpatient clinic coverage for 2 locations in Waukesha County - Pewaukee and Oconomowoc; Inpatient call coverage shared 1:8. The schedule includes 4 clinic days and one administrative day/week.
ProHealth Care, the only community-based health system in Southeastern Wisconsin, is located in Waukesha County, also known as "Lake Country" due to its abundance of inland lakes and recreation. We are actively seeking a Hematologist / Oncologist to join our current team of eight physicians and ten APPs. The practice will be a combination of Hematology & Oncology with both outpatient and inpatient duties. An experienced staff is in place to provide mentoring and practice support.

Our cancer program is partnered with UW Health (the only NCI-designated cancer program in Wisconsin).
Nice combination of Hematology & Oncology, with more emphasis on solid tumor.
Weekly tumor conference attended by medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology & tumor registry.
Best local care while at the same time providing great access to advanced research and clinical trials through UW Health.
Call 1 in 8 shared equally with partners.
Epic EMR fully integrated within system.
Experienced group of providers for mentorship as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Two-year guaranteed salary with an incentive formula from onset.
Signing bonus and student loan repayment.
Vacation and CME time (with $5,000 CME expense reimbursement).
Comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision insurance.
Company paid life insurance and AD&D insurance.
Company paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance (includes tail coverage).
Relocation expenses reimbursed up to $15,000.
401(k) with company match and 457(b).
Company paid dues, memberships and license fees.
Responsibilities A Physician at ProHealth Care is responsible for examining and treating a general patient base to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests, follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary.
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology & Oncology (ABMS/ABIM).
Fellowship training in Hematology / Oncology from an accredited program.
Current unrestricted Wisconsin license or eligible for such.
Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
