Position Summary
As Lead Director, Informatics, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the development, implementation, and execution of the strategic risk adjustment plan for Medicare ensuring its alignment with the financial goals and objectives of the company. The role is responsible for developing and enhancing risk adjustment analytics and reporting, identifying market growth opportunities, and collaborate with CMOs to implement new initiatives to drive strong risk adjustment outcome. You will establish market specific KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of risk adjustment efforts, and monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. This is an opportunity to work directly with different teams across the organization and have a meaningful impact on our business.
Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data analysis, informatics, financial analysis and/or similar roles Experience working with risk adjustment models Demonstrated proficiency with design and coding using SQL, SAS or similar programming languages Experience in health care government plans, specifically with Medicare Advantage Ability to execute algorithms to solve business problems Demonstrated ability to independently lead work with minimal supervision Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with competency in v-lookups, pivot tables, etc. Advanced proficiency with automating reports from disparate data sources Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability Anticipate and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur
Preferred Qualifications Data visualization and presentation skills Prior experience working in a large, complex matrixed environment Experience managing, coaching, developing and/or mentoring individuals Experience building and improving processes Strong organization and exhibit attention to detail Demonstrate strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners
Education Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience Required
Pay Range The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
