Summary

This position will be responsible for directing, overseeing and coordinating the activities of their team in the Construction Management and General Contracting marketplace. Responsibilities

Assist in proposal writing, review project proposals, drawings and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allocation of resources. Coordinate pre-construction services for projects. Assist in directing strategic planning and provide leadership in business development and client relations. Review project activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine progress toward goals. Assist Director of Operations with work assignments, distribution of projects, managing project managers and ensuring timely completion and meaningful project profitability. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and positive image for the Company. Establish relationships with business associates, subcontractors and vendors. Coordinate with Marketing to promote KA capabilities and provide leads and recommendations for KA services. Maintain memberships or affiliations in relevant civic and professional organizations. Confer with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties and ensure progress within budget; provide technical advice to resolve problems. Provide schedule support to project team to preserve contract and project schedule. Prepare project reports for management and clients and adjust schedules or plans as required. Coordinate project activities with government agencies as needed. Meet with Finance to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. Operate in accordance with the KA Project Managers’ Manual. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Bachelor’s degree from four-year college/university or equivalent Minimum of 10 years related work experience Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of project management software Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude and strong customer service Time management and productivity skills to meet challenging goals Compliance with company policies and procedures Strong work ethic aligned with company values and conduct standards Ability to provide guidance and feedback to team members and support development plans Ability to give regular feedback and recognition Creates a positive and uplifting team environment Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Four-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field Knowledge of ViewPoint software Other

Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record; adherence to KA Vehicle Policy Travel 25-75% depending on job Physical Demands
