Senior Product Manager, Mobile at Salesforce. Drive the mobile product vision and strategy with focus on quality, performance, and user engagement. What You'll Be Doing
Drive the Vision: Execute the product strategy for Slack's mobile experience, with an obsessive focus on quality, performance, and user engagement. You’ll be a key player working alongside the mobile director of product. Lead Core Projects: Drive projects focused on the heart of the Slack experience, ensuring a comprehensible information architecture and evolving our mobile offering to meet the unique needs of our customers. Collaborate Deeply: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Analytics partners to represent the mobile vision, facilitate discussions, ensure quality implementation, and play an active role in prioritization and planning. Stay Updated with the Ecosystem: Ensure our applications stay current with changes to mobile operating system standards by understanding upcoming releases and new devices and capabilities. Define and Measure Success: Establish and analyze key success metrics and user behavior to inform product decisions and demonstrate impact on our key drivers of user satisfaction: quality, findability, and usefulness. Work in the Open: Comfortably share your contributions to solicit feedback from your peers, executives, and cross functional partners. What You Should Have
5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of shipping successful, high-impact mobile products for Android and iOS. Craft Champion: A demonstrated passion for building products with best-in-class craft. You hold a high bar for the user experience and can thoughtfully balance the need to innovate and ship quickly without sacrificing the quality, polish, and delight that users expect from Slack. Deep knowledge of the mobile landscape, including best practices, platform design guidelines and the unique capabilities of iOS and Android. Customer-centric analysis: A proven ability to synthesize quantitative data (e.g., usage metrics, A/B tests) and qualitative insights (e.g., user research, interviews) to create a holistic understanding of our users and drive product strategy. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to execute a shared vision. Nice to have
Experience owning software products that span multiple devices and platforms, understanding the interplay of user needs across them. Experience working on personal projects that demonstrate prototyping with code or designing your own mobile experiences. An understanding of the dependencies between client-side and backend technologies and the mobile connectivity constraints. What Success Looks Like
You will improve key mobile metrics including NPS, first week success, and feature adoption. You will drive mobile-specific strategies that complement the desktop experience rather than simply seeking feature parity. You will deliver measurable improvements in quality, findability, and usefulness—our key drivers of user satisfaction. You will successfully launch and scale new mobile-first features that contribute directly to business growth. You will build strong, collaborative partnerships across product, design, and engineering teams to execute on the mobile vision. Accommodations
