Soccer Holdings, LLC – home of Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC – is seeking a dynamic Boys Youth Academy Director to lead player development, coaching, and program management within our elite youth system. This full-time leadership role is based in Louisville, Kentucky, and plays a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of talent for our professional pathway. As the LouCity Academy Director, you’ll oversee multiple teams, guide and mentor coaching staff, and ensure a consistent playing philosophy that reflects our Club’s culture and values. You’ll also collaborate with league partners, manage programming such as College ID sessions and offseason training, and serve as a key connection point between players, families, and the broader soccer community. Responsibilities

Serve as head coach for multiple Academy teams. Plan, conduct, and evaluate developmental on-field training sessions and matches. Ensure consistent communication of the Club’s playing philosophy, style of play, and systems across all age groups. Organize and deliver supplemental programming such as College ID sessions, classroom/video analysis, technical training, and offseason programs. Support the development and monitoring of Individual Development Plans (IDPs), player evaluations, match reports, and feedback processes. Collaborate with Academy leadership on the hiring, placement, mentoring, and professional development of coaching staff. Assist with the planning and execution of player tryouts, registration, and team rostering. Oversee team scheduling, travel coordination, and competition registrations in collaboration with operations staff and team managers. Direct the collection and uploading of team video and performance data. Promote the Club through recruitment, scouting, and participation in community and affiliate programs. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with leagues, affiliate partners, and external stakeholders. Communicate effectively with players, families, and staff, addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. Model and reinforce the PITCH values across all Academy activities. Other duties and projects as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct oversight of Academy coaching staff, including assistant directors, contract coaches, and team managers as assigned. Minimum USSF “B” License required. Minimum 3 years of coaching and/or playing experience. Previous coaching experience at the youth level required. Experience working with youth soccer teams, technical clinics, or camps. Strong knowledge of coaching methodology and player development at various levels. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor when communicating with staff, players, and families. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check required. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
