Overview
Verjus is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the front of house team as a server. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, great knowledge of natural wines and producers, an eye for details and an instinct for providing warm and inviting service. The server must be ready and willing to do it all from greeting guests to cleaning up all tables and stations. All applicants should be passionate about food, wine and hospitality. Base pay range

Greet guests and provide service from welcome to final clearing of tables and stations Provide an excellent guest experience that builds long-term customer relationships Talk about wine and food in a friendly, fun, unpretentious manner Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Maintain organization, cleanliness, and time-management Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and solve problems as they arise Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Have weekend availability Qualifications
Extensive wine knowledge 2+ years of service experience Experience with seasonal and daily-changing menus Ability to describe wine and food in an engaging, unpretentious way Strong verbal and written communication skills Reliable, organized, efficient, courteous, professional, and a team player Ability to work well under pressure and drive results through collaboration Must have weekend availability Education and Experience
