Overview

The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting a full-time board eligible or certified Pediatric Nephrologist to join the Division as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with Stanford Adult Nephrology program, offering a combined adult/pediatric nephrology fellowship training. Responsibilities

Clinical duties include on-site and outreach clinics, as well as inpatient responsibilities. Ambulatory clinics in general nephrology, dialysis, CKD, transplant, hypertension, and cystinosis. Supervise fellows and APPs; opportunities to build out other clinical programs based on interests. Inpatient services: supervise peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, CRRT, aquapheresis, and plasma exchange; collaborate with liver, cardiac, stem cell transplant programs, and pediatric ICUs. Care for newborns with renal agenesis in the NICU using state-of-the-art renal replacement therapies. Operate a 6-station pediatric chronic dialysis unit and home peritoneal dialysis training facilities on-site. Participate in or develop clinical research, quality improvement, medical education, health equity, advocacy, and global health activities as aligned with interests. Mentorship, sponsorship, infrastructure, and support will be provided to successful applicants. Qualifications

Board eligible or certified Pediatric Nephrologist. Excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarship appropriate to programmatic needs; strong participation in clinical care, education, and administration is expected. Interest in participating in clinical research, quality improvement, health equity, advocacy, and global health; collaboration across disciplines encouraged. Appointment and Compensation

Academic rank: Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. The rank will be determined by qualifications and experience. Salary ranges provided are base pay and depend on rank and years in rank; full compensation includes additional components through the School of Medicine's compensation program. Pay ranges: Clinical Assistant Professor: $198k - $210k Clinical Associate Professor: $228k - $240k Clinical Professor: $272k - $292k How to Apply
