Hospitalist opportunity at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, New York. Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join a collaborative and well-supported team. This position offers a balanced schedule, competitive compensation, and strong clinical support in a community-focused setting. Position Highlights
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7 on / 7 off Daytime (7a–7p): Onsite with 12 hours of APP support Nights (7p–7a): On call while experienced APP covers the floor Patient Load: 18–25 per day (shared with APP) ICU: 6-bed unit with Pulmonologist support Procedures: Not required, but helpful Compensation: $2,400 – $2,600 per shift Travel & lodging covered Malpractice insurance with full tail Strong APP and specialist support Responsibilities
Provide hospital-based medical care for adult patients in a 24-hour shift model. Collaborate with APPs, pulmonologists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care. Manage inpatient admissions, rounds, and handoffs per schedule. Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Hospital Medicine Eligible for NY state medical license Employment type
