We are seeking an experienced colorectal surgeon to serve as Chief of Colorectal Surgery at Baystate Health, based in Springfield, MA. Lead and expand a high-demand colorectal surgery service, inspiring a collaborative team of surgeons, advanced practitioners, and surgical residents. Drive program growth and innovation with direct access to three robotic surgical systems. Develop the next generation of colorectal surgeons by laying the foundation for a future ACGME-accredited Colorectal Surgery Fellowship and strengthening our role as a regional leader in surgical education. Enjoy an academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate, with opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Oncology, Gastroenterology, and Radiation Oncology to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care. ABMS board-certified/board-eligible in Colon & Rectal Surgery. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and demonstrated leadership experience within an academic or large health system setting preferred.
