Attend deliveries & manage day-to-day NICU and newborn nursery patients Collaborate during multi-disciplinary rounds Perform ventilator management, lab review, family consults, and more Work with advanced treatments like HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia Provide comprehensive medical care for newborns, particularly those born prematurely or with complications Diagnose and treat newborns with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, and birth defects Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for newborns Conduct clinical research to contribute to the advancement of neonatal medicine Educate patients' families and caregivers about their newborn's condition and the care they require Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities Qualifications
Medical Degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology A minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU Excellent clinical skills with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care Demonstrated experience in clinical research Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to patients' families and caregivers Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Job Details
