Cardiology – Physician Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure Services Southeastern Massachusetts – less than 30 minutes from Providence, Rhode Island and less than 1-hour Boston, Massachusetts Southcoast Health is focused on bringing together high-quality Physicians to deliver exceptional care and services. The Heart and Vascular Center at Southcoast Health provides advanced, tertiary level cardiac care at the system\'s main hospital in Southeastern MA. High-end imaging, catheterization, structural, electrophysiology and surgical services are all provided with a Heart Team approach in an ideal sized hospital setting. On top of our dedicated general cardiologists, there are multiple advanced subspecialists and surgeons within the division, as well as a robust Advanced Practice Practitioner service. Position Highlights Exceptional opportunity to join a group of 26 Physicians & 24 Advanced Practice Practitioners Clinical hospital service and ambulatory practice time at Southcoast Health, The Heart and Vascular Center dedicated to providing consultative services for advanced heart failure patients The Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure Services physician will work with other colleagues and services in collaboration toward the development of a comprehensive Heart Failure evaluation and management program, including the development and growth of an MCS program The position will be supported in a partnership with the Advanced Heart Failure Program at Tufts Medical Center
The Heart Failure clinician will be a full participant in activities of the Tufts Heart Failure Team, approximately 4 weeks of attending on the inpatient LVAD/transplant/advanced heart failure service on-site at Tufts, potential participation in outpatient clinics, participation in all of the LVAD/transplant evaluation meetings and presenting local cases to the team following full local evaluation
Completion of US Residency & Fellowship
Qualifications include Board Certification in Cardiology and Board certification/eligibility following Fellowship Training in AdvancedHeart Failure and Transplant
