Overview
Cardiology - Physician Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure Services Southeastern Massachusetts – less than 30 minutes from Providence, RI and less than 1 hour from Boston, MA. The Heart and Vascular Center at Southcoast Health provides advanced, tertiary level cardiac care with a Heart Team approach in a mid-sized hospital setting. This role supports a comprehensive Heart Failure evaluation and management program, including development of an MCS program, in collaboration with Tufts Medical Center. Southcoast Health is the region's largest integrated network of Physicians and Advanced Practice Practitioners.
Program highlights include busiest STEMI center in the region, advanced EP, structural heart, surgical programs, imaging services, and ongoing research.

Position Highlights Exceptional opportunity to join a group of 26 Physicians and 24 Advanced Practice Practitioners
Clinical hospital service and ambulatory practice within The Heart and Vascular Center for consultative services for advanced heart failure patients
Develop and grow a comprehensive Heart Failure evaluation and management program, including an MCS program
Partnership with the Advanced Heart Failure Program at Tufts Medical Center; participate in Tufts Heart Failure Team activities and LVAD/transplant service meetings
Qualifications include Board Certification in Cardiology and Board certification/eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant
Opportunities to participate in research and clinical trials
Competitive salary with productivity-based incentives; employment model with no buy-in or overhead; starting salary plus RVU incentive & quality bonus
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance; excellent benefits including 41 days PTO (vacation and CME); 6% retirement match after 2 years; malpractice coverage of $2M/$6M
