Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS) located in Dallas - Ft. Worth, Texas has launched a national search for a transformational leader to serve as the inaugural Chief of Pediatric Dermatology. We seek a board certified/board eligible dermatologist who specializes in treating conditions and diseases of the skin, nails and hair to provide care for infants, children, and adolescents. This physician will collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers. The physician will autonomously perform patient assessment, diagnosis and intervention in clinic or via telemedicine according to approved protocols. Physician must be licensed to practice medicine in Texas. Opportunity Highlights

Future programmatic recruitment support through an established fellow’s retention program offering monthly stipends to qualified fellows (when applicable). Candidates must be BE/BC by the American Board of Dermatology with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Dermatology highly desired and eligible to secure an unrestricted Texas Medical License. Opportunities to teach medical students and pediatric residents and to pursue clinical research with support including campus IRB, grant writing, research nurses, and a dedicated PhD statistician (not required but available).
