Houston Methodist Sugar Land is seeking a
fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist
to join our expanding
multispecialty neurology group . This is a unique opportunity to establish a subspecialty-focused practice within a supportive, community-based hospital that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence in patient care. Join a growing team of neurologists that includes both generalists and subspecialists in neurophysiology, stroke, movement disorders, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, psychiatry, and neuropsychology. The practice benefits from a strong referral network, advanced diagnostic resources, and a multidisciplinary care team that includes dedicated social workers, neurohospitalists, and neurocritical care physicians. There is also close collaboration with a wide range of specialties throughout the hospital. Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, ataxia, and Huntington’s disease Perform botulinum toxin injections and DBS evaluations/programming (if applicable) Provide outpatient consults and ongoing management in a clinic setting Collaborate with neurosurgery, rehab, and other departments for coordinated patient care Participate in general neurology call with full team support Help grow the movement disorders program and contribute to community education and quality initiatives Qualifications
MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Neurology Fellowship training in Movement Disorders required Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure Commitment to patient-centered care and team-based practice What We Offer
