Role:

Enterprise Network Security Engineer Experience:

10 Years Role Objective: The Enterprise Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our entire enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center environments. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of Cisco and Juniper technologies, as well as expertise in Palo Alto security products. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in network protocols, security best practices, and network performance monitoring. Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation

Design, configure, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN and data center environments. Implement and maintain Cisco routers (ISR GEN1/2) and switches (4507s-vss, 3750s, 2960s). Manage and configure Cisco Nexus switches (9K, 7K, 5K, 2K, 1K) and virtual switches (1K). Implement and manage Juniper Networks routers (MX, EX, SRX, QFX, ACX) and switches. Configure and maintain MPLS, VPLS, and PSTN circuits. Implement and manage VPN solutions, including IPSec and SSL VPNs.

Network Security

Design, implement, and manage security policies and ACLs. Deploy and maintain Palo Alto security products, including Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, Traps, Cortex XDR, Global Protect, Cortex Data Lake, Cortex SOAR, Prisma SaaS, and Prisma Cloud. Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security audits and assessments of the network infrastructure. Configure and manage load balancing solutions for web systems and e-commerce platforms.

Network Protocols & Technologies

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and RIP. Proficiency with TCP/IP, IPX, Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP), inter-VLAN routing, and trunking with ISL and 802.1q. Experience with WAN circuits and legacy technologies like FR/ATM. Expertise in IPv6 implementation and management.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Utilize network monitoring tools such as Ethereal, Solarwinds, Orion Network Monitor, and HP OpenView to monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Perform packet analysis and deep-dive troubleshooting. Manage and maintain Cisco IOS and NXOS. Routing and switching.
