Overview
Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a full-time, experienced Obstetrician to join an established team of OB Hospitalists. This role provides timely care in low and high-risk situations within a collaborative group of certified nurse midwives (CNMs), OB/GYNs, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists in providing quality, coordinated care to families. Responsibilities
OB triage and coverage for high-risk MFM patients with MFM support Backup for OB/GYN generalist colleagues (employed and private practice), surgical assisting, and occasional backup of the midwives Each year, about one of every seven babies born in Oregon is delivered at Providence St. Vincent. It is a Level III obstetrical and NICU unit offering resuscitation down to 22 weeks. Position Details
Full-time at 1.0 FTE Part-time (less than 1.0 FTE) applicants are encouraged to apply 161 shifts per year with 12-hour night shifts counting as 1.2 shifts 12-hour day/night shifts (7 to 7) OB only; no call required Covered by the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between Providence St. Vincent Hospitalists and Northwest Medicine United/AFT Local 6552 Compensation & Benefits
