Required Skills: CPA certification (required) 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proven experience within the homebuilding, real estate, or construction sectors Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Expertise in technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, joint ventures, and complex transactions Proficiency in ERP systems like NewStar, JDE, Oracle Fusion, or similar platforms Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure Nice to Have Skills: Prior Big 4 or top-tier public accounting experience Experience leading accounting teams through growth, system upgrades, or transformations Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-state operations Advanced degrees such as an MBA or Master’s in Accounting Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Extensive experience in homebuilding, real estate, or construction industries Other Requirements: Willingness to relocate to the Mid-Atlantic (Relocation Assistance Offered) Ability to work on-site four days per week after onboarding Strong commitment to compliance and process improvement Note
