Overview
BCCI Construction, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Project Accountant in San Francisco, CA. This role reports in office four days a week. Purpose
Accurately manage the accounts receivable for all clients to ensure timely revenue flow and cash collection for the company. Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy of subcontractor and vendor invoices. Ensure that the subcontractor has invoiced using the BCCI "Subcontractor Request for Payment" form and included a conditional progress/final waiver. Accurately enter and post all subcontractor expenses in CMiC. Facilitate subcontractor invoicing via Textura, including opening/closing monthly draws, managing submissions and disbursements, and tracking lien waivers. Create the AIA G702/G703 billing schedule for Project Managers and work with subcontractors to ensure they have followed the prescribed billing schedule. Communicate with subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Produce monthly client invoices as instructed by Project Managers to meet client contract requirements. Manage subcontractor lien releases for internal and external purposes. Set up projects on a timely basis within CMiC so that payroll and other job costs can be applied. Close out projects by verifying that all client billings have been presented to the client as instructed by the Project Manager and ensure that all subcontractor costs have been accounted for. Participate in any training required to perform duties of the position and assist the Project Accounting Manager in the development of the Junior Accountant and/or any other person providing Admin work for the Finance Department. Maintain electronic files including AIA billing sheets, PDF client billings, client/sub unconditional waivers, preliminary notices, and relevant PO records. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma College level courses in accounting, finance and/or bookkeeping preferred Specialized Knowledge and Skills
